A professional and organized family in the Arcadia area is seeking a dedicated and proactive Nanny to care for their two young children (ages 2.5 years and 5 months). This role is ideal for a caregiver who enjoys a balance of childcare and household management, providing essential support to a busy home during peak morning and evening hours.

Crossroads: E Camelback Rd & N 44th St

Children: Boy (2.5), Boy (5 months)

Schedule: Ideally, Monday–Friday: 6:00am–9:00am and 4:00pm–8:00pm, plus Sunday: 10:00am–3:00pm.

Mornings and Sunday are priorities and the family is open to discussing flexibility regarding weekday hours for the right candidate.

Starting Date: ASAP

Specific Tasks and Expectations:

  • Attentive Childcare: Supervise and engage with both children, ensuring their safety and developmental needs are met.

  • Routine Support: Help the children get ready for school in the mornings and manage the wind-down and bedtime routine in the evenings.

  • Laundry Management: Handle all aspects of the children’s laundry, including washing, folding, and putting clothes away.

  • Kitchen Maintenance: Stay on top of the dishes, including loading and unloading the dishwasher and hand-washing items as needed.

  • Daily Tidying: Maintain a clean and orderly environment by putting away toys, cleaning up after dinner, and swiffering floors.

  • General Household Assistance: Take out the trash and recycling regularly to keep the home running smoothly.

Compensation: $27–$30/hour DOE

Pets: One dog (German Shorthaired Pointer)

Qualifications Required:

  • Prior professional childcare experience.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage light housekeeping alongside childcare.

  • Comfortable working in a home with a dog.

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to an early morning and evening split schedule.

  • Excellent references and a clean background check.

  • CPR/First Aid certified.
